From blog stalker to blogger
Tuesday, December 12, 2006While googling for "fake lashes", I stumbled upon a cute blog of april zara. She's a fellow Pinay who now lives in Singapore. I found her blog so amusing that I decided to create my own blog.
I initially wanted to create two accounts for my blog, one under my real name and another under an alias. Why two accounts? Well, when you write a blog you are sharing yourself to everybody in cyberspace who cares to read your blog. So maintaining two blogs will kinda protect people I know from knowing stuff about me that I probably don't want them to know. My deep, dark secrets will be published under an alias. And the side of me that is okay for people to know will be published under my real name. But hey, who cares?! This is my blog! I’ll just be as true and honest as possible but still be very tactful in blogging.
Hopefully, my blog can be my Pensieve where I can store memories/events in my life so I can review them (sooner or) later.

Hi again Grace and thanks for dropping by my blog. It’s easy to restrict a post. On your post editor box, right at the bottom is a bar that says “ADVANCED SETTINGS”. Click on that. A few more options will show up. Under the “Restrict To Groups” portion, select “Private”. Then on the box there, you can fill in emails of people you want to be able to see the post or leave it blank so only you can read it. You can also go to your dashboard to start building your network of of people.
Posted by Adam Mordo at December 18, 2006, 3:18 pmso, how does one qualify as a blog stalker anyway?
i’m still kind of ambivalent about blogging. i like the idea of being able to say my piece and connect with other people w/o revealing too much about myself, yet i also dread and resent its potential for intrusion. so i settle for a compromise — i’m half in, half out. i blog using my online alias. for now, everything seems to be working fine
Posted by onyxx at April 26, 2007, 9:48 pmHihi.. una ko rin nakita ung cure blog ni April… kaya ako naounta dito!!!
wow pareho pala tayo. until now, i still regularly visit her blog.

Hello Grace and welcome to the world of blogging.Yep. Blogging is definitely great therapy and an anonymous blog can serve you well as a place to vent out any negative emotion or dangerous thoughts. If you feel brave enough though…Another option you have with i.ph is restricting a post so that only people whom you give access to can see it. Ordinary viewers won’t even know that there are restricted posts on your blog. To the casual visitor, they remain hidden. Saves you the hassle of maintaining two blogs. Anyway…just giving you a few tips. Enjoy i.ph!
