i got tagged!

this is my first time to get tagged!   thanks daisy.

this meme is asking me to write about ten things that i'm thankful for.  hhmmm….. what am i thankful for?  i have to put my cynicism aside for awhile and come up with a good list. in no particular order:

1.  i got an increase.  i'm new and i'm thankful that in six months i was given an increase.  it wasn't much but i guess it's the thought that counts.
   
2. i have received celebrating performance points from my leads.  again. it's the though that counts.
3. almost two weeks holiday vacation.
   
4. new books to read (philipp pullman's dark materials and sophie kinsella's books whish i got for free thanks to rowie)
   
5. being tagged and everything related to blogging

i'll add more next time.  i can't hide the cynicism for that long.  

i’m a postie!

when i first applied for payperpost, i was declined.  i was really disappointed when i got the rejection email.  my blog was initially rejected because it was inactive 3 months prior to my application.  i have read that in their rules but i applied anyway thinking that weren't really serious with that.  but silly me, they were serious about their rules.  i guess that's what  makes them the leader in the blogosphere.  anyway, i kept my blog active and  tried again.  on my second attempt, i got approved! success! 

what will i do with the money i'll earn?  well, i haven;t really thought about it yet.  i don't count the eggs until they are hatched. wink!

vacation at last!

thanks to the holidays i have 8days of vacation (saturdays and sundays not included).  so far i have spent the first few days of my vacation by watching loads and loads of tv and malling.  i''m actually done with my christmas shopping so i'm just tagging along with my family at the mall.

what to do for the next couple days?  read the golden compass and if i still can the subtle knife, have dinner with college friends, hang out with son and other hs friends,  watch loads of tv, rest, rest, rest.
