midterms
Thursday, February 28, 2008i survived the management control exam last night. yey! i think i did fairly well except for the number-crunching part. dupont + algebra spells disaster for me. it’s supposed to be simple but no! i was too autistic to solve a very simple problem. gone are my mtap days, i suck in anything mathematical! tsk. tsk. tsk.
finance is extremely important in mba. i want to be good in finance but finance is not cooperating. finance and i have a love-hate relationship. i’m attracted to finance, finance is not attracted to me. because finance is not reciprocating the attention, i get frustrated. thus, i ‘m not as motivated to pursue it anymore. haha! it’s kinda frustrating when i have to be constantly prodded before i realize the reasons behind the how’s and the why’s of finance. usually, i have a half-baked idea. half-baked is not exactly that useful.
maybe i’m not completely hopeless in finance. there was this one time when i said something in class and lo and behold the professor said it was a good point. it was really nothing but i was ecstatic, it was a miracle for me. hehe. i hope, i really, really hope that with constant pilit, i’ll be finance-savvy soon.

when i said my supposed age in class, carlo (my super cool seatmate) immediately reacted. i was clueless about the error until he pointed it out. then i noticed that most of my classmates were looking at me, curious probably. i think they’re like 34? she looks way older! haha. it was super funny. i felt hilariously foolish. haha. 
the teacher asked me again. because i answered incorrectly, she said a lot in mandarin which i didn’t understand. major nosebleed! i just said, bu dui (incorrect) and said my age again just for the record. hehe. er shi si

honestly, i did the test over and over so i can display a respectable typing speed. haha! i’m not tagging anyone but i encourage everyone to try this test. it’s highly enjoyable especially when you’re uber bored in the office.
