latest newbie
Friday, February 29, 2008the newest addition to the project started last week. because of her, we had to re-arrange seating assignments. pft! i had to give up the cube near the wall which i share with evil sis. our cube happens to be the most coveted area because you don’t have anybody behind you just the wall. benefits? extended lunch periods, eskapo without anyone noticing, surfing without being paranoid, etc.
according to my other homie, the rearrangement was brought about by me and evil sis. apparently, the big boss thinks that we have our own little world. we don’t hang out with the others so she thought of forcing us to join the gang by making us share cubes with the others.
well, we didn’t isolate ourselves for no reason. we didn’t feel the warm welcome when we came in. actually, i got irritated when i noticed that the way they treated the latest newbie is so much better than the way they treated me and evil sis. i guess they don’t like tall, thin women. they like women who are uhm… healthy. 
homie also said that they checked our friendster profiles before we came in and passed judgments about us. well, you know how girls are. they can say nasty things about you by mere vibes. it’s pretty hard to get along with women. i’m like that also so i understand. bottomline is, it’s okay not to be super friends with officemates as long as they like my outputs.

Well, it’s all a matter of perspective. You can choose to see that they didn’t like you enough to give you a warmer welcome or you choose to laugh at them and their insecurities. Is that mean? I don’t know, but it sure helps in keeping ones focus right?
Never allow other people to get you down. Well at least try.
yep, life is all about choosing the perspective that will benefit us the most. honestly, i’ve thought about the insecurity issue. i just don’t want to say it aloud.
well, girls will always be girls. we can hate someone who hasn’t done anything to us just because we don’t like their aura.
Ahhh, office politics.

Tell you this though, the reason you and “evil sis” got a harsher welcome is……in my mind…..some people were intimidated.
So keep that in mind the next time you want to body slam somebody. Hahahahaha.
